Our Mission
As a counseling practice in the heart of Washington D.C., Hyacinth Wellness understands the challenges busy professionals face and the needs to support their families. With evening and weekend appointments options, we will help you make the most of your time, providing both techniques for short-term relief while addressing underlying issues for long-term healing.
Leaders
Hyacinth Wellness is lead by Tawana Fenton, a licensed professional counselor (LPC). Ms. Fenton is a competent, warm clinician who will guide and support you in addressing your personal challenges. She will also help you to capitalize on your strengths as you work towards achieving your goals and living a life worth celebrating.
As a therapist, Tawana provides a safe, nonjudgmental and supportive environment where each client can freely express themselves and work towards achieving their goals. Tawana’s strength-based, holistic approach helps clients develop new ways of coping, changing, and enjoying fuller, happier lives. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, with its roots in cognitive behavioral therapy, utilizing the different theories of change.
